The Yasumoto International Academic Park celebrated its grand opening on 26 February 2013. Housing lecture theatres, classrooms, a bookstore, a cafe and offices, the 14-storey building is a new landmark of CUHK.

The Lo Kwee-Seong Integrated Biomedical Sciences Building was opened on 29 August 2012 and became a research landmark in CUHK's Area 39.
Save energy, save the Earth. The University began to replace the old low pressure sodium lamps in 2010 with the more energy-efficient induction lamps and Light Emitting Diode (LED) lamps.

Horace grants as much liberty to the painter as to the poet by saying that they have always had an equal right to dare to do whatever they wanted. Hence the presence of a polar bear on our sub-tropical hilltop, at the New Asia campus, which was part of a nature-themed sculpture exhibition during the summer of 2010.
The Teaching Building at Chak Cheung Street, with over 10,000 square metres of teaching and laboratory space fitted with state-of-the-art equipment and installations, is the new home of the Business Administration Faculty. It is next to Hyatt Regency which provides hotel and tourism management students with practicum opportunities.
