Table Tennis Teams Win Championships<br><br>The CUHK men's and women's table tennis teams clinched the championships in the 2012–13 Inter-university Men's and Women's Table Tennis Competitions held on 3 March at the Lingnan University.

CUHK Athletes Sweep Championship in Contests<br><br>In the aquatic meet of the University Sports Federation of Hong Kong, the CUHK swimming team took the championship in women's overall, the first runner-up in the men's overall, and the championship in men and women overall.
The CUHK Rowing Team is no stranger to winning at the 'Jackie Chan Challenge Cup Hong Kong Universities Rowing Championships'. The team secured its overall championship in 2011 again, making it the winner of the competition for the tenth year in a row.
With excellent performance in international woodball championships, Ng Cho-kwan, Year 3 student in Sports Science and Physical Education, was named the world's top in 2011.

Jackie Chan Challenge Cup Hong Kong Universities Rowing Championships 2011<br><br>The CUHK Rowing Team secured the overall championship, making it the winner of the competition for the tenth year in a row.
In March 2011, the Men's Rugby Team of CUHK won their first intervarsity championship, beating HKUST at a game of Seven-a-side Rugby played at the HKU field.
The CUHK women's squash team collected their first ever championship at the intervarsity tournament in February 2011, and are seen here with their coach.
Miss Yiu Kit-ching, the famous running nurse at CUHK, added another jewel to her diadem by winning the Women's Overall Championship at the Standard Chartered Marathon 2011 in February.
The CUHK Women's Team was the first runner-up in an intervarsity aquatic meet in October 2010.
The CUHK Men's Rowing Team won the Universities Rowing Championship for the ninth consecutive year in August 2010.
Nurses are trained to be brisk walkers, but few come close to her in terms of being light-footed. Miss Yu Kit-ching (2nd right), a Year 3 Nursing Student, won the woman's individual championship for the second year running in the Annual Cross Country Meet of the University Sports Federation of Hong Kong.
The 5th University Friendship Games<br><br>The CUHK teams clinched silver in the three competitions, namely, women's basketball, men's and women's badminton, men's and women's table tennis.
CUHK oarsmen have grown so used to success that they really do not know how things could happen otherwise. In 2009, CUHK teams were the overall champion at the Jackie Chan Challenge Cup Hong Kong Universities Rowing Championship for the eighth consecutive year.

The 29th Annual Intervarsity Games<br><br>Athletes from CUHK performed brilliantly and beat the HKU team in January 2009, walking away with the championship trophy.
The annual football competition between staff members of HKU and CUHK, a tradition first instituted in 2003, took place in January 2009 at the Sir Philip Haddon-Cave Sports Field at the University. The Vice-Chancellor, Provost and all the Pro-Vice-Chancellors are seen here at the kick-off. The match ended with a 1-1 draw.
