The architects are now a school of their own. Inauguration of the School of Architecture took place in January with the Financial Secretary (left) and the Secretary for Development (2nd left) co-officiating, seen here with school director Prof. Ho Puay-peng (right).

<b>Et mirabilis in oculi nostril</b> ('and a miracle in our eyes'), an eco-friendly and seismic-proof school building was constructed as a CUHK School of Architecture initiative in Jiange County, Sichuan, within a fortnight, with participation of volunteers both local and from Hong Kong.
