Over 200 CUHK members planted Hong Kong Gordonia saplings all over Luk Chau Shan inside Ma On Shan Country Park

The Environmental Sustainability Ambassador Programme was launched in November 2010 to promote ecological concepts not only through publicity, but also through the examples set by the ambassadors themselves.

An exhibition highlighting the large number of species found on the CUHK campus and how they might be appreciated from both scientific and aesthetic angles was opened by the Secretary for the Environment in October 2010.
