The soya bean is native to China, but having been grown in other lands for many years it has lost some of its genetic robustness. The <b>Homecoming of Soybeans</b> project aims at restoring the crop’s stress tolerance and enabling it to be grown in more parts of China. Prof. Samuel Sun (left) and Prof. Lam Hon-ming are at the helm of this meaningful project.
